Here we go again.....
Here we go again..... As many of you know, we sold our Scotty Hilander after our trip last year. See our blog here. http://larryscottyhilander.blogspot.com/ We had a really great time and loved what we did with the camper but when it came right down to it, was wasn't all that comfortable to use. The cabinets of these campers hold up the walls making the inside rather cramped. So, when we found a 1965 Airstream Caravel, we jumped on it. Here are some of the before pictures. . The camper had been totally renovated about ten years ago but it needed some work. So, for the last few months, we have taken care of some issues with wood rot and the appliances. Unfortunately, there is a lot of damage to the plumbing and bathroom and so after this trip, the back end will come out, a big project but not as big as working on the Scotty.
