Eastern and Western PEI and a tropical storm

So, we leave South Carolina during hurricane season and end up in the path of a tropical storm.  This evening and tomorrow, we are going to get a blast of tropical air with rain and wind.

Just for perspective, here is an image of Prince Edward Island.

We were in the far western portion the past few days and today traveled to another provincial park on the west right outside of Georgetown, a small fishing village.  It was about a three hour drive.

We were staying at Cedar Dunes Provincial Park, right on a beach.

One of the days, we traveled up the coast to a wind energy center.  There is wind energy everyone and the are so large.

Back at the camp site, all we had to do was walk about five minutes to the dock to get live lobsters for 6 bucks.  We did that two of the three nights.

The next day, we rode to a First Nation village where the people are struggling to keep their culture.

They grown oysters here and we had some for lunch.

and checked out a surprisingly busy beach. They were swimming!

We went to the Potato Museum.  They grow an immense amount here.

Today, we drove to our place here at Brudenell Provincial Park where we will see what the weather has in store for us.

I am supposed to go fishing with a guide on Saturday but who knows.

Been watching the hurricane warnings and it looks like we are safe from Dorian, that's a relief.  Dave and family are off to Chicago and Rachael flies to Paris tomorrow.  The Bergmanns are busy.

:Later.
